Monday Mental Health Motivation

“New week 🌸 New mercies

Mondays can feel heavy, especially when our minds are still processing the stress, anxiety, or emotional weight of the week before. But God, in His kindness, offers us something powerful: a fresh start.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”   Lamentations 3:22–23

This verse reminds us that we are not defined by our struggles. God’s mercy meets us right where we are—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. His love sustains us, even when our minds feel overwhelmed.

If you're battling anxiety, depression, or simply feeling worn out, know this: God sees you. He cares about your mental health. He offers peace for your mind and rest for your soul.

Take a moment today to breathe, pray, and reset.

You don’t have to carry yesterday into today. His mercies are new, and so is your opportunity to heal and grow.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for Your compassion that meets me in my mental and emotional struggles. Help us to receive Your peace today and to walk forward with hope and clarity. Amen.

REFRESH FRIDAY

You made it through another week! Through God's grace and mercy we are here to enjoy another weekend!

On this refresh Friday let's pause and take time to ask God to renew our spirit. The news and social media has been draining for me this week. The more we watch and listen to what is going on in the world, the more we begin to absorb the after affects of doubt, fear, mistrust, and for some, even hate. Recently, whenever I am about to serve on Sunday, I take five minutes and sit in the car and recite this scripture. Psalms 51:10 "Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me".

I do not know a lot of scripture by heart, but this one resonates with me from childhood, as it is also the title of a very familiar hymn. I now say it on a daily basis, as a way of asking God to cleanse me daily of my impurities.  

As we listen to the news and read social media, we begin to subconsciously absorb what is being projected, affecting our perception and mental bias.

Take time today to read this scripture and ask God to cleanse your heart of the world's bias behavior and bring you back to the reality of the Holy Spirit.

WEDNESDAY WORDS FOR WOMEN - ENCOURAGEMENT

 Good morning, Beautiful! 😍

It's Wednesday and you have made it half way through the week!
(pats self in the back)

Two pillars of the mission of P3 Ministry is to:

- Inspire women to live boldly and passionately for Christ in every area of life. 
- Build a Christ-centered community of encouragement, mentorship, and discipleship.

One way I plan to do that is through transparency and sharing my own personal testimonies. Something I have discovered in the last year is that women suffer in silence (let me say it again for the people on the back...WOMEN SUFFER IN SILENCE! 😢

I personally do not intentionally suffer in silence, but here are some reasons "we" choose not to share what we have been through or are going through:

A. Fear of being judged by others
B. Being categorized and compared to someone else's situations
C. Shame
D. All of the above

There are many other reasons, but these tend to top the list.

God has been speaking to me for a while about being silent. I recently become a Board Certified Mental Health Coach walking my calling of encouraging and mentoring women, ALL women. What better way to encourage others than through personal experience. We all have life experiences that we can share that may help another person on this journey called life. P3 Ministry strives to do just that through a safe, judgment-free community.

Five days after starting this blog, the enemy blind sided me with an encounter with a "friend" that totally discouraged me. I made a few more post after that, but I did not feel worthy to continue. Moral of that story is that everyone is NOT your friend and everyone's definition of a friend is not the same!

So today, be encouraged! Be encouraged to walk in your purpose and passion, and my prayer for you is that they both align with God's plan for your life!

Monday Mental Health Motivation

Cast Your Cares

 “New week, new grace 🌸

Sometimes with the onset of a new week comes anxious thoughts. The thought of going to a job that you may not like. The thought of sending your children of to school in an unpredictable world. The thought of having to make decisions that impact others lives. The list goes on. 

Living in unprecedented times fosters an environment for anxiety. As we begin this week if you encounter anxious thoughts, counter them with truth. One of God's many promises is that He cares for you. (I Peter 5:7). Here is s scripture you can write down and keep close as a reminder when you feel overwhelmed by a mental attack of the enemy. πŸ•Š

If you experience excessive worry, fear, and nervousness that manifest as physical and psychological symptoms that interfere with daily life, consider consulting a licensed professional.

‘Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you’ (1 Peter 5:7, NIV).
'Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you' (NLT).

REFRESH FRIDAY - BE TRANSFORMED

 ✨ Refresh Friday

This week has been overwhelming. With so much division, anger, and violence in our world, it’s tempting to respond to fight hate with hate, anger with anger. But God calls us higher.

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.”

As we move into the weekend, let’s use this time as a reset, to step away from the noise of the world and lean into God’s truth. Instead of conforming to fear, division, or hatred, let’s ask the Spirit to renew us with His peace, His wisdom, and His love.

Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can.
 Let us be people who reflect Christ’s love, even in the hardest moments.

πŸ™ Prayer:

Lord, we lift up our community and our nation to You. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is anger, bring peace. Where there is hate, sow Your love. Renew our minds this weekend, that we may walk in Your will and shine Your light in a dark world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Monday Mental Health Motivation - Permission to Pause

“Happy Monday! 🌸
Today, give yourself permission to pause. 

Start your week with peace.”

Ok, so who was outside this weekend ✋
But it is Monday and we are back on the grind. There is only 24 hours in the day but finding your peace among the busyness is important. Not only finding peace in your daily walk, but in your overall life. The world is filled with chaos that tends to distract and discourage us. Psalms 46 reminds us that God is our refuge and our strength in the midst of chaos (vs. 1). Regardless of what is going on in the world an in our life, it is reassuring to know that we can rely on this promise from God. So how do we find peace in he midst of chaos...I'm so glad you asked.

1. Take a moment to be silent, this is when God speaks to us best.
2. Meditation - Ask God to reveal a passage of sculpture to you. Read and study the verse or passage, praying for clarity and alignment with your life, specifically a situation that you are dealing with.
3. Practice Gratitude - If you find yourself  having "a moment", pause, take a deep breath, thank God for the moment remembering that everything happens for a reason.
4. Take 5 minute walk - 
Even 5 minutes of silence can calm your spirit and reset your mind. 

               πŸ•Š ‘Be still and know that I am God’ (Psalm 46:10).

REFRESH FRIDAY! - REST

“Happy Friday! πŸŽ‰ You made it through the week
(insert happy dance πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ). 

Here’s your weekend reminder: don’t just survive—refresh! 🌿

God has been speaking strongly in the last two weeks about the importance of rest. Some will have you believe that since you are covered by the Blood of Jesus, you will not get tired.That is a negative, my friend! Your flesh will get tired, your soul and spirit will get tired, and your mind will get tired.

The Bible tells us in Matthew that the Lord tells us to come to Him who are weary and burdened, and he will give us rest (Matthew 11:28-30). The reason I don't look like what I've been through (or going through) is because I schedule "me time' EVERY week. I know it is hard to do, but I'm encouraging you to hang up the Super Woman cape at some point this weekend to refresh yourself. Play that favorite song, take yourself on a walk, or call that friend you’ve been missing. Make it a family affair where everyone in the house has a set time to de-escalate. Pick something fun and silly, like coloring or a good old word search. You will be surprised what 30-60 minutes of downtime will do for your energy and mood.

Wednesday - Words for Women - Encouragement for Daily Living "How it all started, where it's all going...

Greetings! It's Wednesday! It's time for "Words for Women - Encouragement for Daily Living"

How it all started, where it's all going...

During prayer time, we often pray to God about our purpose, asking for guidance, asking "What is our purpose" according to God's plan for our lives. I was told some time ago that your purpose oftentimes is your passion, something that you are already doing, but we have to seek God for direction on how we are supposed to live out our passion into purpose. (Jeremiah 29:11-12)
So that's what I did. I prayed and prayed and prayed some more. I started being a better steward of my decisions by including God in EVERY, and I do mean every, aspect of my life. And guess what...it worked! 
 He started revealing things to me, He started opening doors that I didn't even know needed opening, but the hardest part is that he started removing people. See, the thing about asking God for an answer is that you have to be ready for the response. The response might not look like how you think it should. (Pause, now go back and read that sentence). You might not even think you are at a point in your life to walk into what He has called you to do.  That is when you pray some more. Pray for discernment, pray that He change your heart and your character to be the person that He designed you to be and not the person that the world has conformed you to be (Romans 12:2).

God revealed to me this triangle with prayer at the top, purpose at the bottom left, and passion at the bottom right. In a perfect world, we would start at the top of that triangle and pray, and then go from left to right with purpose and passion, but many do not start that way. Many of us are passionate about something and have no clue what to do with it (purpose). Many are walking in what they think is their purpose, but it is not; it is simply what someone told them they should do.

This was the birth of P3 Ministry. A place to encourage women, a place for discussion and transformation, and a place for discipleship. I am probably the most private person you will meet, but our test is a testimony, created to encourage one another, which, through God's plan, I will do here.

So that's how it started, so where is it going? (I'm glad you asked. 😊)
